Spider-Man: Brand New Day has set yet another impressive record in the U.S. box office.The Marvel blockbuster, which stars Tom Holland as the web-slinging superhero, is now the fastest movie to cross the $900 million threshold in domestic theaters. The sum was made in just 36 days, which beats the 50 day record set by 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens.As reported by Variety, the Marvel-Sony project is projected to make $22 million over the four-day Labor Day weekend, pushing beyond its domestic total to $922 million.It is only a matter of time before the movie knocks The Force Awakens off the top spot to become the highest-grossing domestic release of all time.
