The 10th edition of the popular reality show Bigg Boss Tamil kick-started on Sunday, September 6, with a sensational premiere episode. As a major highlight, the show began with host Vijay Sethupathi virtually meeting Mohanlal, Kichcha Sudeep and Nagarjuna Akkineni, the hosts of the other three southern Indian editions of Bigg Boss that also premiered on Sunday. The show also introduced an all-new feature of the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 house — a Democracy Room, which will dictate how the house will function.However, the biggest surprise of the premiere was a new concept that gave the in-studio audience the power to vote and send shortlisted contestants to the house. The launch invited an unprecedented 29 personalities to the Bigg Boss stage, where each contestant had to pitch themselves through live introductions before the audience.
