Stellantis has delayed Jeep Wagoneer EREV production to November, Automotive News reported on Friday.

The company says its EREV plans are still on track for 2026 and 2027.

Automotive News says the delay is due to powertrain issues.

Stellantis was early to the extended-range EV (EREV) bandwagon, announcing what was then known as the Ram 1500 Ramcharger back in 2023. Now Jeep and Ram's generator-powered EVs are arriving later than expected, according to a report from Automotive News.

The Jeep Wagoneer EREV is now due to start production in November, the outlet reported, citing a memo sent to suppliers. Previously, production was supposed to start in May, the memo said. Ram 1500 REV production is set for next April, a delay from mid-2026, Automotive News reported.
