Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently shared an emotional post on what she had learned over the past five years from Sadhguru, the Isha Foundation founder. Taking to Instagram, the ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ star shared multiple serene pictures of her feeding animals like calves, posing with Sadhguru, enjoying a thali of delicious sattvic food, praying to deities Lord Shiva and Goddess Kali, and also relaxing in the green paradise outside the ashram. The actress explained that she had learned to acknowledge her strengths and shortcomings and live in peace with her imperfections. She explained that understanding and accepting yourself is a lifelong process.Samantha claimed that there is frequently a point at which an individual starts to identify themselves using well-known traits, skills, shortcomings, routines, and limitations. They may feel as though their personality has already been formed and that they can only go so far beyond who they have become. Her experiences over the past five years, however, have refuted that notion and demonstrated to her that human development has no set conclusion. She clarified that she is more receptive to possibilities when she visits specific individuals and locations like Isa Foundation on a regular basis. Every encounter offers her a fresh chance to grow, learn, and reevaluate her preconceived notions about herself. Instead of believing that she has fulfilled her full potential, she now understands that there are countless aspects of herself that are still waiting to emerge.“Every time I come here, I leave with a little more possibility. A feeling that there’s still so much more to learn, to change, to become…” she explained.Samantha also highlighted the role of meaningful mentors in this journey. She suggested that truly valuable mentors do not attempt to dictate the person someone should become. Instead, they encourage individuals to recognise their own potential and understand that self-discovery is an ongoing process. For her, such people provide the motivation needed to continue moving forward, much like fuel that keeps a vehicle going. She encouraged people to actively seek out individuals who inspire growth and places that broaden their perspective. Her message ultimately centred on remaining curious, adaptable and willing to evolve. No matter how well someone thinks they understand themselves, there is always another layer of their personality, potential, and identity left to explore. Growth, she suggested, is not a destination but a lifelong journey of becoming.
