Israeli strikes killed four people and destroyed a hospital in south Lebanon amid relentless bombing of the Nabatieh region, Lebanese media reported.

The ministry reported that two people were killed in Nabatieh al-Fawqa and two women were killed in nearby Arab Salim. Twenty people were also wounded in several locations, including women and three children.

In Nabatieh al-Fawqa, an Israeli strike levelled Ghandour Hospital, which had closed several years ago. It was the first time Israel had destroyed a hospital in Lebanon since 2023, according to L'Orient Today newspaper.

Israel said Hezbollah launched two exploding drones towards its soldiers in the occupied "buffer zone".
