Indonesia’s main international airport outside Jakarta and three others delayed reopening on Monday, after volcanic ash from the erupting Mount Anak Krakatau spread across the capital.
Eight airports, including Soekarno-Hatta International, halted operations over the weekend after ash was detected in their airspace, disrupting thousands of flights and leaving more than 270,000 passengers stranded, the Transport Ministry reported on Monday.
