The organisers of the Southeast Aviation Summit and Eastwing Youth Competition, SASEYC 2026, have announced October 3, 2026, as the new date for the event.
The announcement was made during a courtesy visit by the SASEYC team to the Royal Father of the Day, Igwe Lawrence Agubuzu.
The summit, which was initially scheduled for September 26, is organised by the Eastwing Youth Foundation, the non-profit arm of Eastwing Aviation Institute.
Agubuzu, a former Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria and former Chairman of the Enugu State Council of Traditional Rulers, endorsed the initiative and pledged his support for the programme.
He urged young people to take advantage of opportunities in aviation by acquiring practical and specialised skills that could position them for meaningful careers.
