Josh Hoover bloodied during first half of Indiana debut, stays in game to throw TD anyway

But you should see the other team.A gnarly second-quarter facemask by North Texas defensive end Udoka Ezeani left the former TCU quarterback with blood pouring out of his nose and down his jersey. But the senior stayed in the game and threw a dart to wide receiver Charlie Becker for a 9-yard touchdown three plays later, giving the Hoosiers a 21-3 lead in what became a 52-16 Indiana victory.

Despite a quick score by North Texas to open the second half, Indiana cruised to kick off the season. It was an efficient afternoon for the Hoosiers, who lost the total yardage (367-365) and time of possession (37:22-22:38) battles but limited the Mean Green to just one touchdown.
