A 30-year-old man allegedly ended his life by jumping into the Gambheeram Gedda reservoir under the Anandapuram police station limits here on Saturday (September 5, 2026). The deceased was identified as Sandeep, who was working in the IT sector. According to the police, a preliminary investigation revealed that he had reportedly been experiencing depression for some time. The Anandapuram police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
