Russian forces have been attacking Zaporizhzhia with drones since early Saturday morning, September 5. Dozens of residential buildings have been damaged in four districts of the city.

The Zaporizhzhia City Council reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Twenty-nine residential buildings were damaged in the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia on September 5. Damage was recorded in four districts of the city: Khortytskyi – nine apartment buildings; Kosmichnyi – five apartment buildings and nine private houses; Shevchenkivskyi – five private houses, two of which sustained significant damage; Oleksandrivskyi – one apartment building,” the statement said.

Windows, balconies and roofs were damaged in the buildings. Workers from Zaporizhremservis, a municipal utility company, boarded up broken windows in three apartment buildings and three private houses.
