A man has died while attending Burning Man festival in Nevada, amid a party lockdown because of extreme weather in the area.
The popular counterculture event - which has now become a favorite for middle-aged influencers and Silicon Valley elite - reported the tragedy late on Friday.
The partygoer, believed to be in his 50s, was found dead around 6.30pm on Thursday, and first responders in Black Rock City were unable to revive him.
No cause of death has been determined, pending the results of an autopsy by the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner's Office.
Pershing County Sheriff Jerry Allen told the Reno Gazette Journal: 'Foul play is not suspected at this point, but we won't know 100 percent until an autopsy.'
