Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered a three-day halt to strikes on Ukraine’s capital starting at midnight on Saturday, September 5.
According to Ukrinform, the BBC Russian service reported this, citing Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov said the Kremlin leader made the decision because an American delegation is due to arrive in Kyiv.
He added that U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who are currently in Moscow, are scheduled to meet with Putin.
