The horrific killings have sent shockwaves across the nation following Wednesday's announcement by state prosecutors, who identified the musician by his initials J.S. M.O..‌Jonathan served as keyboardist for Mexican indie rock outfit Camilo Séptimo. The victims included his 35 year old pregnant wife Ana Paola, alongside 21 year old Aleida Romero Victorio, who worked as the family's nanny.‌The couple's six year old child was found alive and physically uninjured, prosecutors confirmed. The fatal shootings occurred between approximately 5.30pm and 7.40pm on Tuesday evening at the family's penthouse residence.‌Lorena Victorio Cabrera, aunt of the childminder, told CNN: "She was a very hardworking and responsible girl who did not deserve for this to be done to her."Rock group Camilo Séptimo posted an emotional tribute to their fallen bandmate and his loved ones. In an Instagram statement, they wrote: "With deep sorrow we bid farewell to our dear brother Jonathan Samuel Melendez Ochoa. To his wife Ana Paula and his daughter Sofia. They will live forever in our hearts. We celebrate your music, your life and your light.
