Nigeria international Kingsley Ehizibue has completed a free transfer to Genoa after leaving Udinese at the end of last season.
The right-back made 32 Serie A appearances for Udinese in the 2025/26 campaign, taking his tally to more than 115 games and four goals across four seasons at the club after his contract expired in June without a renewal.
Ehizibue is 31 years old and signed a multi-year contract with Genoa on September 3, having completed his medical before the move was finalised.
The transfer brings the defender back to a club that first attempted to sign him in January 2019, when he was playing for PEC Zwolle in the Netherlands. That move collapsed after a snowstorm delayed his journey to Genoa, and he joined FC Koln instead.
