Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane is gearing up to hit the ground running.
New Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane has named his preliminary squad for this month's 2027 AFCON qualifiers against Guinea and Eritrea, as well as next month's international friendly against Egypt.
Notably, only one Kaizer Chiefs player was included in the selection.
Mosimane will officially begin his second tenure on Saturday, September 26, with a home match against Guinea, for which the venue is yet to be announced by SAFA. Four days later, the team will play away against Eritrea at a reported neutral venue in Egypt.
Following the clash with Eritrea, Bafana will face the Pharaohs in an international friendly at the Cairo International Stadium on October 4.
