72-hour ultimatum given to Delhi Police to arrest accused goons – Chandrashekhar Azad
Following a high-profile incident involving open public confessions and continuous threats against the victims, community leaders and representatives met with senior Delhi Police officials to demand immediate and strict legal action. During the meeting, police authorities assured that stringent charges—including Attempt to Murder (Sections 307, 308, 326), the SC/ST Act, and POCSO—will be added to the FIR. Officials have committed to arresting the perpetrators within 72 hours and completing a thorough investigation to bring justice to Nishu, her father Sanjay, and the family.
