The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has cautioned policyholders and other stakeholders against a website that is allegedly presenting itself as an IRDA-related insurance grievance and complaint registration platform.IRDAI said the website igmsirdai.online, including its complaint registration webpage, is not an official IRDAI website, the regulator said adding that the matter was being investigated and appropriate action will be taken on the website. In a release issued on Friday, IRDAI has advised the public not to access the website, register complaints or submit any personal, policy, financial, banking, KYC, OTP or other sensitive information on it or on any other website claiming to represent the regulator without verification.It has also cautioned against making payments or sharing banking and financial credentials, passwords, OTPs or other confidential information in response to communications received through such websites.Published on September 4, 2026
