Dubai's tourism initiative, the Dubai Invite campaign, closed registrations after receiving more than 90,000 applications from residents.
The scheme offered residents discounts worth up to $816 to encourage friends and family to visit the emirate.
The number of discount packages was increased more than three times due to high demand, with over 30,000 distributed.
The campaign was launched to help boost tourism amid challenges posed by the Iran war, running from July 20 to October 31.
