Axis Bank and travel fintech Scapia on Friday launched a co-branded credit card targeting India’s digitally native travellers, offering zero foreign exchange markup, airport privileges, and rewards on both travel and everyday spending, with no joining or annual fee.The Scapia Axis Bank Credit Card, available on both Mastercard and RuPay networks, allows cardholders to earn up to 20 per cent rewards on eligible travel bookings and up to 10 per cent on other eligible spends through the Scapia app. Rewards, earned as Scapia Coins, can be redeemed across flights, hotel stays, visas, experiences and shopping. Onboarding began on September 3.The card is managed entirely through the Scapia app, which also enables trip discovery, planning and booking. For overseas use, the card includes a Smart Forex feature offering visibility and control on international transactions, alongside airport lounge, dining and retail privileges.Axis Bank Group Head Arnika Dixit said the partnership aims to move beyond traditional co-branded card offerings by integrating payments into how customers discover, plan and experience travel. Scapia Founder and CEO Anil Goteti noted the platform’s users have already travelled to over 175 countries, and the Axis Bank tie-up broadens its reach across India.This is Scapia’s third banking partnership, following collaborations with Federal Bank and BOBCARD. For Axis Bank, the card reinforces its co-branded cards strategy in the high-growth travel and digital-first segment.
