Five officials of Education department receive national awards

Five officers attached to the Puducherry Education Department have been selected for the National Awards for Innovations and Best Practices in Educational Administration for the year 2024-25 instituted by the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration, New Delhi.Chief Educational Officer Kulasekaran, Headmaster Grade I Amalraj Leemas, Headmaster Grade I Lingasamy, Block Resource Coordinators Saravanan and Helen Rani received the awards at a function held in New Delhi recently, a release here said.The awards were given in recognition for adopting best practices in educational administration and functioning of schools at the district and block levels. The recognition reflects the commitment of the Education department towards innovative approaches in improving school education in the Union Territory, the release said.
