F1 75 was a live event held in London last year that marked the 75th anniversary of the sport PA Images/Alamy ImagesSept. 4, 2026 Updated Formula 1 announced Friday that it will host a three-day fan event called ‘F1 Live Milan’ ahead of the start of the 2027 season, building off the success of the F1 75 Live event last year. The event will take place in the Italian city from Feb. 18-20, 2027, but the exact location has not been announced yet. There are two different components of this three-day event — Milan Fan Festival, which runs all three days, and an evening event called ‘F1 The Show’ that’ll feature the drivers and team principals of the 11 teams. It’s an expanded format compared to what was held at The O2 in London in 2025, which marked the 75th anniversary of the sport. That held similar elements to the evening show planned in Milan, with the teams involved and there being music and entertainment elements. ‘F1 The Show’ will be on Feb. 18.“We are always thinking big and pushing boundaries, and F1 Live Milan is going to be an incredible experience created with our fans at its heart,” Stefano Domenicali said in the news release. “We want them to feel that they are not simply watching the sport, but they are truly immersed in it.“It is an important part of our ongoing ambition to bring Formula 1 closer to fans than ever before, giving them the chance to see their heroes up close and experience the energy, innovation, and emotion that make Formula 1 so unique.”Domenicali maintained that racing will be the heart of F1, but they “also want to create unforgettable experiences that bring the excitement of Formula 1 to life on an even bigger scale and continue to explore what is possible.”
