Argentine President Javier Milei escalated his rhetoric over the Falkland Islands overnight after President Donald Trump appeared to question whether the United States would support the United Kingdom in a future conflict with Argentina over the disputed territory.

In a speech, Milei said Argentina must eventually “recover” the islands, urging Argentines to “not stand idly by” and to “show a united front to the world.”
