The Sri Sri Radha Radhanath Temple in Chatsworth will host the celebration of Sri Krishna Janmashtami on Friday, honouring the birth of Lord Krishna.
The temple invites the local community and beyond to partake in an immersive experience filled with spirituality, culture, food, and music, promising a festive atmosphere for families and individuals alike.
The pinnacle of the Janmashtami festivities will occur on Friday, a day dedicated to commemorating the appearance of Lord Krishna.
The festivities will kick off with the Maha Yagna ceremony starting at 3pm. As day shifts towards night, the cultural stage programme will begin at 6pm, featuring a display of traditional performances followed by a Bonfire Kirtan, a lit fire on the temple grounds, with live music and collective mantra meditation.
