Euroholdings has extended the time charters of two of its feeder containerships, securing higher daily earnings and greater coverage for the coming years.The 1,732-teu M/V Joanna will be chartered for at least 30 months at a daily rate of $24,000 from 2 December 2026, while the 1,439-teu M/V Aegean Express will be chartered for 24 to 26 months at $20,500 per day from 1 January 2027.According to President and CEO Aristides Pittas, the agreements reflect the continued strength of the feeder market and the shortage of immediately available capacity.The two charters are expected to generate approximately $24 million in EBITDA over the minimum contractual period.Charter coverage will increase to 79% in 2026, 48% in 2027 and 47% in 2028.
