WIOCC Group, a carrier-neutral digital infrastructure platform focused on Africa, has secured a combined $300m investment from Africa Finance Corporation and Vision International Investment Company to accelerate its expansion across the continent.
The company said on Tuesday in a statement that it signed a Shareholder Subscription Agreement with the two investors at the LEAP 2026 Global Technology exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The investment will support WIOCC’s long-term expansion strategy, including the deployment and consolidation of data centres, expansion of its open-access terrestrial fibre network and investment in new subsea cable assets.
WIOCC operates in more than 30 African countries and provides connectivity infrastructure supporting businesses and digital service providers across the continent.
