The group also appealed to the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN) and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress to assist in the urgent release of Bodejo.
The North Central chairman of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani Sociocultural Association, Idris Bebeji, appealed during a press conference in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State on Wednesday.
According to him, Bodejo remained a prominent leader and advocate of the Fulani pastoralist community, contributing to its peaceful coexistence, national unity and welfare.
He said Bodejo’s continued detention had generated concern among his family, associates, supporters and members of the wider pastoralist community.
