Old students of Isonyin Grammar School, Ijebu, Ogun State, have commissioned a solar streetlight project at the school as part of activities marking their 50th anniversary of graduation.
According to a statement made available to The PUNCH on Thursday, the solar streetlights were installed to improve visibility and security within the school premises.
The initiative, according to the statement, was also part of the alumni’s efforts to give back to the institution and contribute to its development.
It added that the solar project and the anniversary celebration demonstrated the alumni’s commitment to supporting their alma mater while celebrating the relationships and memories built over five decades.
