JD Vance is taking some hits on social media after he took time away from discussing the upcoming 9/11 anniversary ceremony to insult former President Joe Biden.During a White House press briefing Thursday, the vice president mentioned he would be attending the 25th anniversary ceremony of the Sept. 11 attacks in New York. Vance will be representing the current administration instead of President Donald Trump, who reportedly bowed out because no speeches would be allowed.Besides Vance and Biden, former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton are planning to be at ground zero.Initially, Vance attempted to promote the event as bipartisan, saying he thinks the “sense of commonality and common purpose that we all had on 9/11” is “something that we should really try every single day to get back to.”But Vance couldn’t leave well enough alone and had to make sure people knew his real thoughts by making a joke at Biden’s expense.“As you guys can probably guess, I’m really looking forward to hanging out with Joe Biden. I’m sure that we’ll have many, many intense intellectual conversations. ...
