Richard E Grant has marked five years since the death of his 'beloved' wife Joan in an emotional video, as he admitted he would have 'loved' for her to get to meet their new baby grandson.
Joan died in September 2021 at the age of 74 after a battle with lung cancer, and Richard has openly spoken about his grief since her passing.
In a post on Instagram, Richard shared that he still feels 'unbelievable gratitude' that he spent nearly 40 years with Joan, and said he's still 'surrounded by everything they made together' at their countryside home.
The actor shared his sadness that Joan will never meet their grandchild, after their daughter Olivia welcomed a son earlier this year.
Richard said: 'Five years ago today, my beloved wife Joan died, at 7:30 in the evening.
