According to the publication, the suspect did not make any threats.‌A police spokesman told Germany's DPA news agency that "a potential threat from the unidentified substance could not be ruled out."Emergency personnel in protective suits were pictured outside the terminal this evening.‌The airport confirmed that the public area of Terminal 1 was evacuated "because of the suspicion of a dangerous substance."A spokesman said the federal police issued a dangerous item alert at around 5:45pm, leading to the "public area of Terminal 1 being cleared."Planes already preparing to depart were able to take off as normal, while incoming arrivals were also able to land.Article continues belowPassenger processing was being "relocated to Terminal 2," the airport added.
