Americans want answers about Natalie Harp, the 35-year-old aide with near-unrestricted access to Donald Trump.A new Daily Mail/JL Partners poll found 42 percent believe there are more questions to be answered about Harp's position, against just 22 percent who are satisfied with what is already known, while 36 percent are unsure.Republicans are the only group in which more say they are satisfied than want answers, by 35 percent to 29 percent. Democrats split the other way by 58 to 13, and independents by 37 to 17 percent in wanting more details. The survey also shows how fast a once-anonymous assistant has broken through, with 16 percent saying they have heard a great deal about her and 23 percent a fair amount.Approximately 28 percent have heard not very much and 33 percent nothing at all.Both parties report almost identical awareness of the story — 40 percent of Republicans and 42 percent of Democrats say they have followed it closely — suggesting the split owes more to instinct than information.The poll surveyed 1,015 registered voters online between August 28 and 31 with a margin of error of 3.1 percent.Harp is rarely more than a few feet from Trump and has been dubbed the 'human printer' for trailing him with a laptop and feeding him news articles and social media posts at all hours of the day and night.
