Residents watch as a massive blaze consumes the iconic Delphi Restaurant in Durban.
Emergency services are currently on the scene at a major building fire that broke out at the historic Delphi Restaurant, situated at the busy intersection of Lilian Ngoyi and Livingstone roads in Durban.
Firefighters and disaster management teams responded rapidly to the blaze, working to contain the flames and secure the structure.
Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedics arrived swiftly to support emergency operations and evaluate people who were evacuated from the building.
"Paramedics are currently assessing occupants in the building," said Garrith Jamieson, spokesperson for ALS Paramedics Medical Services.
