The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has extended the service year of 27 corps members in Osun for various acts of indiscipline.
The NYSC Coordinator in the state, Ekeng Kubiangha, disclosed this during a low-key Passing-Out Parade (POP) for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II corps members on Thursday in Osogbo, the state capital.
Mr Kubiangha also said that 31 corps members absconded from service during the service year.
According to him, a total of 1,969 corps members participated in the POP across the 30 Local Government Areas and the Area Office in the state.
He urged the outgoing corps members to leverage the knowledge, skills and experiences acquired during their service year as they begin the next phase of their lives.
