With more than 20 years of career, Yuridia is today one of the most important female voices in Mexican music. The singer, who rose to fame through the reality show La Academia, is making history this week as the first Mexican woman to perform at — and sell out — the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City. And she will do so not just once, but twice — on Thursday (Sept. 3) and Friday (Sept. 4).

The shows mark the start of her Las Cartas Sobre La Mesa Tour, with its first leg consisting of 19 dates across Mexico, and concluding on Dec. 5 in Guadalajara.
