So people who used AI for free therapy sessions or making caricatures might have had a bit of a hard time.
The outage comes as OpenAI is believed to be teasing its next big model, GPT-6 Astra. The new model may see OpenAI models upgrade from GPT-5.6 to GPT-6
According to reports, the issue is affecting ChatGPT on the web, mobile, and desktop. Claude appears to experience the same outage, and Grok is having a service issue.
