The Lagos State All Progressives Congress deputy governorship candidate, Damilola James, has pledged to deepen engagement with grassroots groups ahead of the 2027 elections.
James made the commitment on Wednesday when she received a delegation from the GO Lagos Movement, a political group with structures across the 57 local government areas and local council development areas in the state.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the movement’s Director of Media, Bolu Oladokun, the APC deputy governorship candidate appreciated the group for its solidarity.
She said she “does not take their confidence and commitment for granted,” while reaffirming her readiness to work closely with the movement.
