Karnataka CM Shivakumar to inspect drought-hit areas during Bagalkot visit

Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will inspect drought-hit areas in Bagalkot district on Friday.He will take part in a puja at the Krishna river in Kudal Sangam, hold a meeting of agricultural scientists at the University of Horticulture Science and later with officers at the zilla panchayat.The Chief Minister will fly to the Jindal air strip at Torangallu in Ballari district in the morning. He will reach Kudal Sangam in a helicopter by noon. Later in the evening, Mr. Shivakumar will leave for Hampi Kannada University. He is scheduled to participate in the State-level launch of Praja Seve, the Department of Public Grievance Redressal, at Kudligi in Vijayanagar district on Saturday.
