Authorities in the Russian capital report a drone attack on the region that began around midnight.
The BBC Russian service reported this, according to Ukrinform.
According to posts on Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin’s Telegram channel, the number of drones shot down while approaching Moscow since midnight on September 3 has reached 116.
He did not specify the locations or directions in which the drones were downed.
In the morning, Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov also reported a massive overnight drone attack, saying that the settlements of Kubinka in the west of the region and Pavlovsky Posad in the east were among those affected.
