They will have to face off against Notre Dame's CJ Carr, Pitt's Mason Heintschel, and others who could give them a run for their money. However, one player was under the radar entering this season. Furthermore, against the Stanford Cardinal (1-0) on Friday at 9:00 p.m. ET on ESPN, the Hurricanes will have their hands full with Davis Warren under center. He finished with a 151 passer rating and a QBR of 75.4. "I mean, offensively, they piled up 500 yards," Cristobal said about the Cardinal offense and quarterback. "Their quarterbacks got to overcome a lot from a life standpoint as well as a football standpoint, and goes down and completes, I believe, 22 of 34 passes for about 300 yards, six red zone trips, 44 percent on third down. I thought right from the start it looked like he had a really good feel and control of it.
