The Torcal will be Bentley’s quickest, most powerful car, but its output will remain below 1,000 hp.
It shares its 800-volt platform, 113-kWh battery—and possibly more—with the Porsche Cayenne Electric.

Bentleys have traditionally felt understressed with ample performance in reserve thanks to their powerful engines. As Bentley moves into the electric age, it wants to imbue its EVs with the same kind of character. In fact, electric power may suit Bentley’s character even better than combustion both in terms of effortlessness and outright performance.
The Crewe-based manufacturer has just revealed that its first EV, the Torcal SUV, will be its most powerful and quickest-accelerating vehicle ever. That means it will sprint even faster than the 771-horsepower Continental GT Speed, which can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in 3.1 seconds.
