Sony may have ignroed the elephant in the room with their PlayStation State of Play, but the showcase had plenty of major announcements earlier today (Thursday, September 3).
It's been a tough few months for Sony, having faced backlash for the decision to stop producing physical games from January 2028. This State of Play is the first presentation since the announcement and was bombarded by live chat comments protesting the move.
But instead, Sony focused on dozens of shiny new trailers for upcoming releases. The headline attraction was the world premiere of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation gameplay.
On top of that - as if it weren't enough - there was the reveal for a new Lego PS1 set, Ghost of Yotei DLC and extra Crimson Desert Content.
Marvel fans weren't left out, with a trailer for the imminent release of Wolverine on PS5, while a host of other Japanese adventures were shown off during the stream. Check out our feed below to catch up on what happened.
