Ukrainian drones damaged two apartment buildings and an industrial plant in the Moscow region and killed at least two people in the southwestern Belgorod region, officials said Thursday.
Moscow region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said 56 Ukrainian drones were destroyed overnight.
He published photos of two residential buildings where fires broke out, saying they were located in the towns of Pavlovsky Posad and Kubinka.
Independent reports said the Kubinka apartment building is located 5 kilometers (around 3 miles) from the Russian military’s Kubinka Air Base.
Vorobyov said a drone crashed onto the grounds of an unidentified industrial plant in the village of Bolshoye Bunkovo, located north of Pavlovsky Posad.
