DA leader and Mayor of Cape Town Geordin Hill-Lewis launches his third pledge to the residents of Cape Town on Cleaner Public Spaces at Princess Vlei in Grassy Park .
DA leader and City of Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis said his party was taking nothing for granted in Cape Town ahead of the local government elections.
“We are campaigning flat out to make sure that we win Cape Town again. We are working the hardest in the city because we care about the city and we are not saying to the residents of Cape Town to vote for us just because we are already in office,” he said.
“We are working for that trust. We are working for that vote,” Hill-Lewis said.
He made the statements on the sidelines of the launch of his third pledge to the residents of Cape Town on Cleaner Public Spaces at Princess Vlei in Grassy Park, which was upgraded in under a year.
