TV hosts Olivia Attwood and Pete Wicks revealing their relationship last month prompted an outpouring of excited comments but also a little concern. Their kiss was widely liked on social media, including by fellow TV hosts Maya Jama and AJ Odudu. The romance between everyone’s new favourite power couple is said to have begun at the Brit Awards in February.For Dog’s Sake presenter Pete, 37, has earned a reputation as a bit of a lothario over the years. But Olivia finds this funny. “There’s a lot of jokes around taming Pete, and I have no interest in taming him, because I don’t want to be tamed either! I like him exactly how he is, and I think the feeling is mutual... hopefully.”This week, Pete was seen wearing an “I love my girlfriend” T-shirt and is rumoured to have had Olivia’s face tattooed on him. For Olivia, 35, who hosted ITV dating show The Heat and is a regular panellist on Loose Women, the secret is all in the timing for the loved-up pair.She says: “I’ve known him for 10 years, we were friends. He knows all the facets of my personality. There aren’t any jump scares or surprises. In the past it wouldn’t have worked, but now, in the stage of life that we’re both in, we’ve grown up and I think that we compliment each other really well.”‌Olivia shot to fame on season three of ITV’s Love Island in 2017, coupling up with Chris Hughes. “I do think that timing is kind of divine. It’s a little bit spooky the way things play out, and it’s hard to ignore. Like turning down Love Island series two because I had this boyfriend that ended up being a nothing boyfriend, but then I was available for series three, which turned out to be like the biggest series.”Olivia separated from her footballer ex, Bradley Dack, in January 2026, following revelations of his alleged infidelity. She says: “I’ve entered this season that I didn’t expect for myself. It’s definitely a direction shift away from where I thought I would be at this age in terms of my personal life. But I think all for the positive. It feels exciting.”Olivia hosts The Price of Perfection, the latest series of which recently aired, becoming the most streamed on ITVX, and her hit show Bad Boyfriends is to return early next year.‌She says: “I’m taking advantage of the fact I can be at this really selfish point where I can throw everything into work. It’s just me. I’ve got the world at my feet, and I’m just going to absolutely take advantage of that.” On The Price of Perfection, Olivia lifts the lid on Gen Z’s cosmetic surgery obsession, revealing eye-watering prices, risky procedures and huge sacrifices.While she’s had some cosmetic procedures herself, including a boob job, she says the message behind the show is one of caution. The most common misconception about surgery, she says, is that it’s as simple as getting a blow dry. “You really are putting your life in someone’s hands. You’re breathing with the assistance of the ­anaesthetist, all the decisions the surgeon makes are the difference between life and death.“The cosmetic industry and modern life as a whole do this really good job of minimising cosmetic surgery and going: ‘Oh, you’re just going in for a little tweak.’ Quite often these tweaks could have major consequences if something goes wrong.”‌This year, she moved out of the Cheshire home she shared with Bradley and into her own place in Central London. She says: "It’s been a nightmare. Moving house is like one of my top 10 horror films. Every time I’ve done it, I hate it and it takes me a while to settle. I’ve never been good with change. I was a very emotional kid. Now, I’ve got into my flow here and I’m making new memories, and I’m happy.”Her two beloved dogs, Lola and Stitch, are living the high life, too. She says: “I’d swap lives with them tomorrow if I could. They’re two of the most pampered dogs in the UK. Absolute princesses.”Pete has admitted to preferring dogs to people. Olivia says: “I second that. And now my dogs have a brother that they never asked for, which is quite sweet. We have this little blended family with Pete’s dog, Rodney. They all get on really well, thank goodness.”But while the dogs are tucked up in bed, night owl Olivia loves to go out. “My two top dates are going to the cinema really late in my pyjamas, or getting dressed up, going into the West End for dinner and drinks, then ending up in a strip club.‌“Two ends of the spectrum - nothing in between. Having the financial freedom to take all my friends who have supported me for a night out and being able to pick up the bill that brings me joy. They’ve brought me back to life so many times, and to treat them makes me happy.”Despite past heartbreak, she’s a hopeless romantic. Olivia says: “I’d tell my younger self to wear sun cream and to never pick up a packet of ­cigarettes. But I’d also tell her you’re not going to marry that guy.“Every boyfriend I’ve had from the age of 15, I’ve been like, ‘I’m going to marry them’. I’ve wasted a lot of years and a lot of heartbreak on fleeting relationships. But then it’s part of my journey.
