An IndiGo flight from Doha to Bengaluru was diverted to Muscat early on Thursday (September 3, 2026), after one of the pilots became unwell and required medical attention.The flight, 6E 1302, took off from Doha at 2:19 a.m. and landed in Muscat at 5:30 a.m. local time.“IndiGo flight 6E 1302, operating from Doha to Bengaluru on September 3, 2026, was diverted to Muscat due to an urgent requirement for medical attention for one of the operating crew members,” the airline said.The pilot was attended to by a medical team upon landing and is feeling better now, IndiGo statement added. The airline said that he had suffered from food poisoning.An alternate aircraft and two sets of crew were arranged to operate a ferry flight from Ahmedabad to Muscat to bring the stranded passengers back to Bengaluru, and to fly the aircraft back.
