The summer transfer window might have already shut in England, but several clubs across the continent are still scrambling to get key deals over the line.

However, in terms of the Premier League, it was another history-making window, as clubs smashed their summer transfer record with over £3.3billion spent.

More than half of the top-flight sides broke their transfer records in a summer window featuring four of the top-flight’s five most expensive ever deals.

The biggest deals saw Manchester City complete the signing of Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea for £125m, while Liverpool paid £120m for Bradley Barcola.

But there still could be more deals to come as Gabriel Martinelli has completed a £60million move to Ali-Hilal.
