New Delhi: India-US ties are at a "historic high-point", US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor said Wednesday, adding that the two are working to build a trade bond that is "fair, reciprocal and mutually beneficial". He invited Indian companies to invest in the US across manufacturing, R&D and distribution, while calling for fair market access for American suppliers in India and Indian firms in the US.Highlighting that the Pax Silica declaration signed by India and the US this year is a step towards a pro-innovation regulatory framework, he said: "This declaration will make it easier for American and Indian companies to invest across borders and will empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and builders in both of our countries...We trust India and we want to work with India.""The United States isn't just a customer of India's industrial success. We are an active partner in its speed and scale," he said, describing the relationship as "Indian capital, American manufacturing, and shared prosperity in action."
