ElevenLabs has hired Ashley Kramer, formerly vice president of enterprise sales at OpenAI, as its first chief revenue officer, as more than half its revenue shifts to enterprise customers. Its core product falls under the AI Act’s synthetic content marking rules, which give systems already on the market until 2 December 2026 to comply.
ElevenLabs has hired its first chief revenue officer. Ashley Kramer joins from OpenAI, where she ran enterprise sales, Bloomberg reported.
The reason is a shift in who buys. More than half of revenue came from enterprise customers this year, up from 40% last year, which chief executive Mati Staniszewski called an inflection point. Kramer has also worked at GitLab, Oracle and NASA.
The company is European and is rarely described that way. Two Polish founders, a London headquarters, and a government that took an $11M stake this year.
The scale is no longer modest. It reported crossing $600M in annualised revenue in July, with Deutsche Telekom and Revolut among its named customers, alongside Meta and Stripe.
