How Seychelles plans to build its $2 billion sovereign fund

According to Finance Minister Pierre Laporte in a report published by Bloomberg, the government wants to protect public resources by reserving "scarce resources for social infrastructure, although the private sector can contribute".

The fund is scheduled to become operational next year, following the passage of necessary laws and the appointment of staff and investment committees.
