Late Emir of Zurmi, His Royal Highness Alhaji Bello Sulaiman
President Bola Tinubu has mourned the death of the Emir of Zurmi, Sarkin Zamfaran Zurmi, His Royal Highness Alhaji Bello Sulaiman.
The Emir died on Monday, five years after ascending the throne.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu extended his condolences to the late traditional ruler’s family, the Zurmi Emirate Council, the Zamfara State Government and people, as well as the traditional institution in Nigeria.
The President described Sulaiman as a respected monarch who led his people with wisdom, dignity and commitment during a challenging period.
